Alexander McQueen's spring 2010 runway show, held on October 6, 2009, in Paris, will be remembered for a number of reasons — most importantly as the last collection McQueen was to see finished, but also for the show's technology-meets-fashion components like robotic movie cameras and the surreal video of Raquel Zimmermann lying naked wrapped in snakes (both courtesy of Nick Knight). Pieces from the critically-praised collection, titled Plato's Atlantis, are starting to land at retailers and online — reptilian patterns and digital prints which now have a place in history and certainly in the fashion archives.
